Our IT Team maintains and develops the organisation’s digital infrastructure. It ensures reliable, secure, and privacy-respecting tools for internal collaboration, external communications, and member engagement. The team manages the website, email systems, cloud tools, and digital onboarding processes. It also supports other teams with technical solutions and digital best practices.

David Cvetko – Team Leader IT

David Cvetko  is from Austria and has been working in software for over a decade in roles ranging from engineer and project manager to team lead and entrepreneur. He has worked in a safety-critical industry, co-founded a blockchain startup in Korea, and is now working in the European cloud sector, helping to build a more sovereign digital Europe.

Alongside his professional work, David has long been engaged in self-hosting open-source IT. He is also passionate about tackling society’s loneliness problem, having run a coliving community in Portugal and is now developing software tools to support communities and collaboration.

Marion Bauchet – Email & Communications Manager

Marion Bauchet is from France and has been working in IT Infrastructure field for more than 15 years, as system & network engineer, team lead, service manager, mainly in industrial companies.

She is also passionate about horses and has created her own company dedicated to teaching horse riding and providing services to top-level professional riders.

Mayowa Adeyemi – IT Team Assistant

Adeyemi Mayowa is a System Test Engineering Graduate at FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences in Austria and works at Flexoo, where he develops automated test solutions for semiconductor devices. His professional focus includes test automation, embedded systems, open technologies, and software to improve efficiency, transparency, and reliability in engineering processes.

Beyond his academic and professional work, Adeyemi volunteers as an IT Team Assistant, supporting digital infrastructure and helping European Pirates use technology more effectively. He is an advocate for open-source software, digital rights, privacy, and accessible technology. His interests include developing tools that automate complex workflows, promoting technological literacy, and exploring how digital innovation can strengthen democratic participation and civic engagement.

Adeyemi believes that Europe’s digital future should be built on openness, transparency, interoperability, and technological sovereignty. He supports policies that empower citizens, reduce dependence on monopolistic platforms, and encourage the adoption of open standards and community-driven technologies. Through both his technical work and volunteer activities, he aims to contribute to a more secure, innovative, and democratic digital society.
